Celebrity Cruises

One of the many cruise lines that you can book a vacation package with is Celebrity Cruises. Founded in 1989 by the Greek Chandris Group, the company has its headquarters in Miami, Florida. Eight years later, the company merged with another cruise company called Royal Caribbean International.

Today, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. is the merged business which operates Celebrity Cruises along with Royal Caribbean International, Azamara Club Cruises, Pullmantur Cruises and CDF Croisieres de France.

The logo of Celebrity Cruises has the letter "X" in the middle which is the Greek letter chi for Chandris. When they were just starting out in the business, the company has a goal of fulfilling the travel industry's need for high-quality, premium cruises which passengers can take advantage of at an intelligent price. Back in the days, the target market of cruise vacation packages was elderly couples or honeymooners. But when companies like Celebrity Cruises introduced to a travelling bunch just how luxurious a vacation cruise package could be, it appealed to a broader market.

When the first ships of Celebrity Cruises sailed the seas, they implemented a new worldwide standard for cruising. The sumptuous dishes that they served passengers were made from scratch using only the finest ingredients. They were also the first cruise line to introduce a luxurious spa experience on board with the AquaSpa feature that they have.

Today, Celebrity Cruises is a multi-awarded cruise line with a continuously growing customer base who would like to experience everything that a premium cruise vacation package has to offer travellers.
